EMS Training Centre, Kampala
IBSF delivered a light weight second floor addition for an Emergency Medical Services Training Centre at Lubaga Hospital, Kampala.
NGO Field Office, Arua District
This climate friendly field office in Yoro Base Camp was delivered in 2018, using our fast modular building technology.
School Building, Rhino Camp
Climate responsive design and the use of high quality materials makes this new school building stand out. Zero Carbon Panels have been used for insulation against heat and the noise from rain. In combination with a large roof overhang it creates a very comfortable space for students and teachers.
Centre for Sustainable Consturction, Kampala
IBS Foundation and Makerere University have initiated a Centre for Sustainable Construction as part of CEDAT. The new building has been designed to suit local climate conditions and to utilise locally manufactured green building materials.
Maternity Clinic, Omugo Camp, Uganda
A new maternity ward is under construction in Northern Uganda. This facility is located within a refugee settlement and will greatly improve the situation for woman giving birth. The structure is being built by young Ugandans and refugees that have been trained by IBSF during the construction of previous projects.
Maternity Ward, Kakuma, Kenya
The Kakuma Mission Hospital currently has 62 beds and a small maternity ward. IBS Foundation has started with the construction of new building that will house the maternity ward and add 12 beds to the hospitals capacity.
