IBS Foundation delivers on-the-job training and local up-skilling programs to students, graduates and craftsmen within the agricultural, manufacturing and construction sectors.
Amatheon Agri staff has been trained to operate large mechanised straw balers. The balers are being used to collect and bale waste straw from the fields. A typical round bale weighs 250kg.

The team of refugee and host community workers were employed and trained at the construction of RCHS, Arua.
IBS Foundation is partnering with Makerere University to develop R&D programmes and to showcase sustainable construction technologies in Uganda. Furthermore, IBS Foundation has initiated academic exchange between the German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing, the University of Applied Sciences Rottenburg, and Makerere University.
